What You Need
- Harischandra Thosai Mixture
- Mustard seeds, onion, curry leaves, chillies
- Sambar to serve with
Method
Step 1: Empty the contents of Harischandra Thosai Mixture pack into a bowl, add three cups of water, mix well and leave for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Add two more tea cups of water, mix well and leave for another 15 minutes.
Step 3: Heat one tablespoon of oil, add a teaspoon of mustard seed, a tablespoon of finely chopped onion, curry leaves and two or three dry chilli broken into small pieces.
Step 4: Fry till onions are golden in colour. Add to the dough. Add salt if necessary.
Step 5: Make Thosai and serve with Sambar.
