Description

Appam/Appa or Hoppers is a type of pancake, originating from the Indian subcontinent, made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk. It is a common food in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. It is eaten most frequently for breakfast or dinner.

What You Need

  • Harischandra Hopper Mix
  • Coconut milk
  • Lunu Miris to serve

Method

Step 1: Empty contents of Harischandra Hopper Mix in to a bowl.

Step 2: Add two tea cups of coconut milk (2nd extract) and mix in to a thick dough.

Step 3: Keep for 15 minutes. Add 1 and 1/2 tea cups of thick coconut milk (1st extract).

Step 4: Keep for another 15 minutes.

Step 5: Your instant hopper mixture is now ready for making delicious hoppers.
